International News Magazines - Time

Time Magazine represents one of our many large volume, highly time-sensitive international newsmagazine print productions. Typically, production of this magazine starts on a Saturday night (when data is transmitted to us from New York and Hong Kong); with the different editions ready for distribution by early next Monday morning to the entire Asian region.

The production of Time Magazine is entirely computer-to-plate. In cases where films are supplied, our advanced copydot scanning

time_mag
machines are used to scan the films into digital files.

As part of fulfilment, addresses of subscribers are inkjet onto paper wrappers using our stitching machines. Aside from this, we are also able to produce Chesire labels and other types of sticky address labels for different addressing requirements.

Special covers for hotels and airlines are printed in-house by our On Demand printing section. When required, bind-in and blow-in cards are inserted in the magazine during the post press stage.
